Bods Mendhi

obviously cant write in too much detail as it was for strictly ladies!! If you would like to know what were the happenings of that night please do not hesitate to ask Ilo. I was hibernating in the toilet/ powder room for the whole night...I really hate too many people in closed areas for long periods!! There was really no room to BREeea...!!

before the party we did do major mission again...and it didn't help that England were playing Australia that day in Edgbaston where the Mendhi was taking place. Travelling to the hall that take 10 mins took an hour and a half!! So my mum got there after my sisters' in-laws...and there were tonnes of them!!! Im sure they said 30 ppl?!! Well, because of the amount of ppl, and the cricket game, and a room full of Bengali majority...there was obviously no order...JUST CHAOS!! therefore i hid in the toilet!!

i would write what did actually happen at the mendhi but i told you i don't really know...and actually dont care. But im presuming the usual...cake feeding (rather than Mishti cos Bods hates it!), haldi splattered on the future brides' face...and so on and so on...
The best part was the fact that it was segregated and i got to wear what i want!! I must say i caused a bit of a stir with my outfit, as ppl were usually used to the black burka, etc and the fact that the outfit was fairly...ahem, scandalous....hey, my sister only gets married once. Plus i really cnt wear that kinda stuf when im married...what would the in-laws say?! hehehe
