China
Eco- something has come over me. Think I have become obsessed with China. I think it all started when I did that project/presentation at uni on China. Then read Wild Swans- now thinking that I’m some kind of expert. Then I brought that pretty umbrella….it’s not Japanese, is it?!! And now I’m wanting to buy 1421- the year China discovered the World and The Rape of Nanking. Both a bit expensive, due to p&p, on Amazon…shall have to raid charity book shops. Think I want to go to China too- I’ll get to see the Great Wall of China. Thus, fulfilling my ambition of eventually seeing all Seven Wonders of the World inshaAllah. Think I got two done- Taj Mahal and the Pyramids. Is Niagara Falls one of them?!!
Feeling a bit over emotional lately too- don’t ask!! I can’t even read Falling Leaves on the bus…it’s so sad :(

oi!! Hope you're not picking on my General. He's from Indonesia btw. He's so cute- apparently he sent a text to Osama (Paki Maths geek) saying how he misses not talking about maths with anyone. This text was obviously circualted round the maths dept- aww bless, i'd listen to him talking about algebra any day!!

Okay, so i have 5 more places to visit. I think i can do Machu Picchu in PERU and Galapagos at the same time as they are fairly close to each other (South America). Will have to save a lot of money for that one!! Serengeti Migration is in Kenya/ Tanzania so will wait for Fatima to go 'back home' and tag along with her- that'l save me on accomodation! That only leaves Wall of China and Grand Canyon. Grand Canyon- the trip is not recommended if you have a fear of heights because some sections of the trail are narrow and have steep drop offs without rails...Eeek! fear of heights...get over it! And China- some hadith about studying islam to the ends of China or something. Would that mean i wouldn't need a mehram?!!
