taxi driver

i am now onto Eid outfit number 4. I swear its not my fault!! The other three were given to me as a gift over the summer as a graduation present but the one i bought today was because i felt depressed after going shopping into town and coming home with NOTHING. This never happens! But i guess i never go shopping intentionally...i just happen to stumble across a few shoops and find some bargains. Oh, i miss OFFICE shoes- i think i need a new pair of shoes :( Back to the materialistic ME- the bright yellow kameez i bought today ivery pretty. Its a weird yellow but it has the most amazing work on the back. Think il wear it on Thursday next week as i won't be going into uni- i better wear it otherwise mum'l shout that i have too many kameez's and that i never wear any of them!!

Still can't get into the mode of studying at home- but there is hop...i have bought a book from Amazon and have got my mate to get me the books from Bham uni as the ones from my uni have been taken by the Chinese ppl on my course. Speaking of courses....in my Arabic class today this really old woman interrupted the class half way through. I swear she must have been about 85+ but mashaAllah she seemed keen on going our class. Our teacher recognised her...she did the course last year and came top of the class. It would have been nice to have her in the class instead of disruptive Pakis who come late to the class, therefore missing the vocab test, and don't seem to be too interested in learning Arabic!! Anyway, have half term next week so no class until two weeks time.

Was Taxi-driver again today...this seems to be a regular occurence!?!! Had to drop ILo to the airport today at 7am. She is the perculiar one in the family but that makes me love her more. I do worry about her sometimes. Once we got there she had no clue where to meet the group. She didn't even have her phone on her to ring her teacher...not that she had a contact number or anything...she didn't even have any numbers of the other girls going. She was the only coloured person going...not that any of the millions of Muslims in her school would have been allowed to go especially during Ramadan. Think she was a little teary when i left (i hugged her btw Eco)...i bet she's crying in the hotel room just as i speak. She comes back on Monday 4pm...the house is seriously quiet without her :(
Then i came home and dropped the kids to school hile my mum took dad to the GP...then went to Arabic class...then to town to find myself a coat no luck there! then i took my cousin Eid shoppping...then dropped her to work...came home to then drop my brother to work... then had to get chips from Yassers'. The queue was so long that we ended up breaking our fast in the chip shop. It was so nice- a shop full of muslims (plus a token gora) all opening their fast with a piece of fruit provided b the chippy. May Allah (swt) reward them. the smallest things make me so happy to be muslim. Plus, they charged everyone a lot less then what they owed for the food... Man!! I love that place. The donner burger didn't quite taste the same without ILo and Obz on the table...

Only one/ two more fast remaining...how fast they have gone.

Im glad im not the only one with eid clothes dilemmas, i bought one online at the beginning of Oct and up until mid last week there was still no sign of it. I opened as soon as i got home from the airport and actually didnt like it, Pink said it was nice, but ithink its a no no! So now im wearing something really plain and have realised the colour of my scarf is all wrong and i was ripped off with the bangles i bought :o

...im going to look interesting on Eid!

oh my that sounds like a dilemma! Well, i have uni tmrw so don't need to wear my outfits until we actually go somewhere. But then again because i like my clothes fitted i have to stick on my jilbaab on top, which i don't mind as long as i know i look nice (on the inside) ;P

Hope you had a nice Eid regardless of the mismatch of outfit...
